Debbie Davis is an Artist from Cincinnati, Ohio.  She developed her passion for oil painting while spending her summers in Northern Michigan with her family.  She enjoys painting primarily in oil, but also uses water color and gouache in her work.  In 2008 she began her artistic journey by taking a Plein Air Workshop with the Glen Arbor Art Association and was hooked.  She continues to enjoy Plein Air painting as well as working in her studio.  She is drawn to color and the beauty of the natural landscape, but paints everything and anything that captures her interest, which is varied.  Her paintings are Impressionistic, colorful and radiate a sense of cheerfulness.  She has participated in countless classes and workshops in Cincinnati, Michigan, Florida and Provence as a way to keep her paintings fresh and to bring her creations to the next level.  She has participated in numerous Art Shows in Glen Arbor and Cincinnati, including the 2011 through 2025 Glen Arbor Art Association's Plein Air Paint Out.  She was a featured Artist in the 2012, 2013 and 2016 Starfire Artability Events and has participated in the Hyde Park and Glen Arbor Art Fairs.  Until recently, she also worked and displayed at the Pendleton Arts Center in Cincinnati but now works from her home studio and shows her work at The Pines Gift + Home + Art in Cincinnati.
